My name is Tom Schan. I am a London based private client tax adviser and a member of both the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). I ensure my clients are tax compliant and that they pay no more tax than they’re required to pay by law. I am partly able to achieve this by: • agreeing fees prior to engagement so that my client has peace of mind; • not charging for calls or meetings so that my client feels supported; and, • maintaining a small client portfolio so that my client knows I’m accessible and proactive. It’s important that clients feel able engage with me to keep me informed and that I’m contributing towards their success.
