Jon Darley

I'm a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS). This makes me one of the most highly qualified Financial Planners in the country. Having qualified as a Financial Adviser in 2009, I have worked for a variety of companies including HSBC, Mitten Clarke Chartered Accountants, Gemini Wealth Management and Prosperity Wealth Ltd. I have a strong background in pensions as well as all other areas of personal and business financial planning. I advise on all private final salary and defined benefit pensions, as well as Government pension schemes, which include NHS, Teachers and Local Government pension plans. I have a keen interest in providing advice in diverse areas such as long-term care, whether that’s guidance on Equity Release Mortgages or long-term care funding. I also work closely with local accountants and solicitors, providing guidance on pensions, divorce and business financial planning issues. I'm married to Sarah, a General Practitioner, and have two children. I spend time helping in the local community and take part in charitable fundraising events. I pride myself on being ethically-driven and client centric. Making clients happy and giving them peace of mind when making financial decisions is my major priority. I chose to work for an Independent financial advisory firm in Consequential Planning Ltd as it allows me to be the adviser I want to be without being pressurised to have targets of selling.
