I have worked in financial services since I was 18 years of age and I now have over 22 years of industry experience. I started work at Royal & SunAlliance and progressed through my financial adviser exams whilst there, my last role was a manager looking after the new business team for Phoenix . I decided to leave this role as I got into finance to help people and provide honest and ethical financial advice, I then started my journey as an IFA with a reputable company for five years before leaving to set up my own company! I became a independent financial adviser in 2009 and haven't looked back since! I set up my own directly authorised IFA company Chris Lunt IFA Ltd in January 2015 and we currently look after over £60+ million of assets in pensions and investments for our clients and we receive very positive feedback from our clients over our approach to providing financial advice in a clear and positive way always ensuring that you understand all of our recommendations. We have an excellent team working with me called Jodie, Nigel, Becky, Josh, Natalie and Lucy our office dog! We have been awarded Vouchedfor top rated adviser status for the last 10 years in a row as voted by our wonderful clients and we are extremely proud of this as this is awarded from reviews from our existing clients! I have passed my diploma exams as a financial adviser and I am committed to carrying on with my advanced diploma exams so that I can continue to provide excellent service to my clients and gain chartered status. I am a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Personal Finance Society to demonstrate my professional and ethical standards. All fees are agreed in advance and all my advice is backed up in writing I do not provide advice on final salary (defined benefit) pensions as my company doesn't hold the necessary permissions to advise on these type of pensions.
