The Power is in the Planning. When my Dad passed away at a young age, I remember him being told to make sure that my Mum, sister and I were taken care of financially. Not only did I remember the advice, but I feel my life has been testimony to the importance of it. Perhaps as a result, I have spent over 20 years of my professional life helping people protect those they love, whilst also working towards and achieving personal objectives and ambitions. I listen carefully to where each client is in their life and what they want for the future, before thinking about and designing plans that contain the best financial solutions to support them, reviewing them regularly to make sure we are on course to success. Good financial advisors keep their clients for many years in order to build long-lasting, trusted and close relationships so that, should circumstances change, there is no hesitation to make contact and adjust financial plans accordingly. I specialise in estate planning, pensions and investments and have successfully studied diplomas in financial planning, most recently achieving advanced Chartered Status. When I am not at work I can be found on the golf course, volunteering as Chair of Governors for my local school and participating in activities as a Freemason.
